Dealer's Choice

Cigar smoke fills the air, permeating every crevice of the velvet and leather couches. At the counter, the bartender pours another martini. The atmosphere is hushed, thick with the plots of your fellow criminals. Everyone knows the Dealer's Choice club is where the sausage gets made. 

You sit at a round corner table, the red seats tufted in diamond patterns. The dark wood of the table contrasts the white of your cards. It’s time to get started. 

In Dealer’s Choice, players are criminals plotting to make money and maybe even make moves against each other. The Dealer is responsible for running the game and setting DCs (difficulty checks). 

Each player needs their own standard deck of 52 cards (no Jokers). That's it! This game requires no rolling, no adding stat modifiers - simply play cards from your hand and try to beat the challenges set before you. 

Dealer's Choice was created for a one-shot format, but can easily work for a longer campaign if you desire.
